About Life

Some people think that life is not as pleasurable as it should be. It can be as rough as a stone and so tough that even himself/herself does not know the real reason behind. How come some life is so low or even so dirty? How come? If it is really hard then live it to the fullest. Just try and every thing will be fine. It could be sometimes really hard as if you are through hell but do not stop your life because your mom would not stop reaching you as her loving son or daughter. (picture courtesy of Flickr)

If you really had a bad LIFE, just try to go through, do not STOP it coz there is another life waiting for you.

will you cry if?

- your kid has nothing to eat

- your kid is sick

- your kid can not go to school

- your kid has to work as a beggar

- your kid HATES you

It is not too late, express your LOVE to your kid!

The essence of being a MOM

One of the best bonding that I can say at home is watching a nice video. Last time, we had the chance to see a drama-comedy film that focus on family ties and the importance of adoption. I thought that the film is just an ordinary one until I realized that every one (B, J, & M) including myself, cried in some scene of the film. How come it really touched our heart including a 5 year old kid? (** picture courtesy of Flickr)

1. Witnessing some kids sleeping in the street.

2. Watching the struggle of a mother to her 7 kids (6 adopted).

3. Trials that ruined the relationship of the whole family such as business bankruptcy, jealousy of the real daughter, death of the grandmother and the painful one is the abandonment of the father to his family because of some financial legalities.

4. Separation of almost the whole family except the eldest daughter to their mom because of personal conflict.

5. Humbleness of the mother to say SORRY just to bring back all her 5 daughter & 1 son.

6. The ending which really astounded us is the unity of the whole family realizing that their mom is the most important person in the world.

The best part of the film is the mother's strength that has been shown through PRAYERS and lighting a candle everytime that a family member leave her.

blaming will hurt your kid and in the end he will cry....'Warum immer Ich?'

'Warum immer Ich' (Why always me?') 'Am I the only person in this house who make mistakes!' 'Why does everyone say J do that, J did u blah blah, J clean your room, J why is your brother crying, J how come you did not do your assignment, J blah blah blah' 'You should not remind it everyday to me.' And J really cried loud and hard coz we can feel that he is full of little hurts that had been piling up everytime that we blame him. And I realized from that night, blaming can be changed to asking or requesting and sometimes, hugging a kid while asking something can be a different approach. It might not be late, we as parents could learn something from our kids.

I am ok Dad (but deep inside he is not)

Sometimes ok means it's not really ok. It is like the weather being sunny but nobody knows that behind the cloud something is brewing. Do you ever ask your son if he is ok in school? And do you get an answer from him that he's 'fine - ok, no problem'. How about asking him if he has some difficulty with his assignments - does he reply 'nope'. How about asking him sometimes if he enjoys his new school and he replies 'yap'. You're definitely gonna thank God coz it seems you're not gonna have a problem. But just asking a kid if he is ok is not enough coz sometimes we as fathers should really sense the answer if everything is really OK. Until, the worst day came and I found out that my son is not doing well in his new school. And he did not even care to give all his assignments coz he didn't want to study anymore. How come? What is the problem? Silence. And then he cried. 'Dad, Mom, I am sorry. I do not like my new school. I really love to study in Vienna even if it is far from our home. I love to study in a Bilingual school. I am sorry. I am not OK!' And we embraced him and cried with him coz our kid is not OK (pala)!'
